Pipeline Design

Following approval of the plans, the design and procurement phases can start. This can include refining front-end engineering, feasibility and working the conceptual design into the final detail plan for construction.

Designs will be drawn up accompanied by specialist analysis. This may include pipeline routing and sizing, design of above-ground installations and terminal points, stress analysis, flow modelling and hydraulic analysis, specification of equipment and materials and the procurement process. This last stage includes the Invitation To Tender documentation for both materials and for the main works construction contractor.

Again, we can provide either a full service or specific inputs, such as the review of tender documentation prior to issue to contractors.
