The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Awards Adjudication Panel has recommended that BPA be awarded the RoSPA Patron’s Award for Occupational Health and Safety. The RoSPA Health & Safety Awards have over 2000 entries every year and the Patron’s Award is awarded to organisations that have achieved 25 years consecutive Gold Awards. In 2020 it was awarded to only 18 organisations who have, like BPA, demonstrated consistently high performance in health and safety performance, policies and procedures for more than two decades.
Without a national award event this year, BPA’s Cherelle Jones (HSEQ Co-ordinator) and John Harris (HSEQ Advisor) accepted this honour in a remote ceremony at BPA’s Hemel Hempstead office.
Director and General Manager at BPA said: “Safety is at the heart of everything that we do and we are extremely proud to receive our 25th RoSPA Gold Award. We appreciate being recognised for maintaining the high standards required to win the award by the RoSPA team and I would like to thank BPA colleagues both past and present whose commitment to health and safety has contributed to this achievement.”
